Best Buy has leaked a news that iPhone 5 is going to be launched in October. It also claims that Sprint will offer Apple’s fifth-generation iPhone at launch, aligning with a recent rumor that it would become the third carrier in the U.S. to offer the iPhone. The memo suggests that pre-sales for the new iPhone could begin soon, with an “expected” launch in the first week of October. However, the note also cautions that launch dates are “subject to change.”
According to 9-to-5 Mac, Apple’s retail stores are getting ready for the launch of iOS 5 and iCloud by training staff on the features of iOS 5 and iCloud. News is also rumoring that Apple’s retail chain is starting to train on the iOS features. So, from the previous experiences we can assume that a launch could occur within few weeks. It is three days before the iPhone 4 launched that Apple made iOS 4 available. Also it is two days before launching the iPhone 3GS, that the company released iPhone OS 3.0.
Apple’s latest mobile operating system, iOS 5, has more than 200 new features, including Twitter integration, wireless activation, and a new messaging app. An integral part of iOS 5 will be iCloud enabling you to sync music, documents and photos across all your devices. Well, nothing more available about its specs. So, we can wait till an official declaration from Apple or from such reliable sources.
