Videocon has joined hands with Italian superbike major Ducati Motors to launch Ducati smartphone series called V6200 in India. Apart from having the standard features of a mobile phone, it also packs in some extra sports goodies. The V6200 comes with a sporty design, anti-slip grip and dust resistant keys with side control. The screen has 3 modes, namely ‘Phone’, ‘Fun’ and ‘Sports’ modes.

We at Videocon strive to get interesting new elements and try to set the bench marks in the industry. We are very positive that it will create the desired newness in the mobile phone industry; this is a revolutionary phone with some never seen before features and uses.” said Saurabh Dhoot, Director Videocon Group

To start off with the mundane features, it has a 2.4 inch display with a resolution of 240×320 pixels with 262K colors. It’s got a 2MP camera with video recording and FM Radio on loudspeaker. The phone’s battery offers a talk time of about six hours and standby time of 400 hours. The phone has also got a dual LED torch and a customizable back OLED screen.

The phone also offers 4 GB micro SD card preloaded with lifetime validity of MapMyIndia. It also includes features like GPS, thermometer, barometer, pedometer, altimeter, UV rays sensor, digital compass, and lastly an LED pulse indicator. The phone has dedicated keys for GPS, LED Torch, Camera & (MFD) Sports Feature. It also packs in some more with a Mo-biking user guide and a PC Suite. The phone also comes with a CD that contains pictures and videos of Ducati bikes.

The phone is available at a price of 11,900 and best buy price of 9,500 at all leading retailers.
