Samsung has unveiled two new models to its portable devices range, one of which is the NF210 netbook and the other is SP510 notebook. The SF510 is a full size notebook with a screen measuring 15.6-inch, while the N210 is Samsung’s first Atom dual-core offering.

“At Samsung, our thrust on innovation leads to the development of products that are clearly differentiated basis their design and features .Accordingly, with the NF 210, we are the first company in India to launch Intel Atom Dual Core based netbooks.” said Ranjit Yadav, Country Head, Samsung India Electronics.

So, here we can have a look at both models.

The Samsung NF210 Netbook

The Samsung NF210 netbook has a 10.1-inch anti-glare LED backlit screen. It has a 64-bit Dual Core CPU with 1 MB L2 Cache Hyper-Threading along with an in-built graphic support. The Samsung NF210 runs on Windows 7 and is powered by Intel Atom Dual Core processor N550 and runs at 1.5GHz. Weighing 1.34 kg, this netbook has three USB 2.0 ports, Bluetooth 3.0, integrated webcam, 4-in -1 card reader, and SRS 3D Sound with stereo speakers.

The Samsung NF210 netbook has 2GB DDR3 RAM and 320 GB of storage. Samsung claims that the 6 cell battery present in the netbook provides 10.5 hours long battery.

The Samsung SP510 Laptop

The Samsung SP510 laptop runs on Intel Core i3 and i5 processor. The Intel Core i5 runs at 2.53 Hz and has nVIDIA 1 GB VRAM. In terms of display, the SP510 laptop has 15.6-inch LED backlit HD Screen and comes with an integrated webcam. The laptop weighs 2.4 Kg and has other features such as DVD writer, support for HDMI, LAN, Wi-fi b/g/n, and provides 3D sound output with stereo speakers. The Samsung SP510 laptop is powered by 4GB DDR3 and has the storage capacity of 500 GB. The laptop has up to 7.8 hours of battery life.

The NF210 is priced at  22,900 while the cost of the SP510 is 55,490.
