Comex has good news for those who are getting impatient with Apple’s tardy business. When iPhone 4 was out for sale, the first thing quite a few buyers did was install iOS 4 on the 3GS smartphone and then resigned to waiting for a lifetime till someone decided to get a hack for it.

The hack, a jailbreak tool, was posted by Comex as a link to the hosting site, http://jailbreakme.com.  Christened as JailbreakMe 2.0, the newest tool off the jailbreaker shelves functions efficiently with almost any device, that is the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G and excludes just the iPhone 2G. There are no restrictions even on those iPhone 4s running on the most recent iOS 4.0.1 and iPads using iOS 3.2.1.

To make things sweeter, the hack is browser-based and even a novice can follow the simple step-by-step instructions to download and use the tool on their iPhone 4, or whichever aforementioned device they happen to carry. Of course, we need not mention that enthusiastic fans have caused the servers to overflow, but try to slide your way in soon.

Something that the user must remember though: the tool is just a jailbreak, not any real unlocking key. Some future updates by Apple may have you slapping yourself hard later, so think twice before you jump from the frying pan into the fire.
