If you are a sucker for the vintage with a modern touch, there is one device just made for you. Music aficionados who feel that they might be game for yet another means to groove to their favourite rock band will probably flash us a smile as well. As for the actual news, Grace Digital has launched a new Tuner Wireless Radio & Media Player to drag your antique stereo to the third generation.
With the new options, you can stream online audio to your stereo directly from the internet. The Wi-Fi connectivity will let you access content from up to Internet radio 30,000 stations, plus you can still play your own vast collection and listen to podcast. On-demand Wi-Fi radio content and other online music services like Pandora, SIRIUS, iheartradio and Live365 will also be at your fingertips.
The Tuner Wireless Radio & Media Player would be connected to the internet via Ethernet or 802.11g with a 4-line backlit LCD display that isn’t really that intriguing. Lazy ones among us will be glad that Grace Digital decided to include a remote too.
The bliss comes with a few shortcomings though. First of all, Grace might have to scramble hard to find someone who would either be wealthy or dumb enough to shell out a hefty $219.99 for this oldie. Considering that it also decided to stick to its rather ancient user interface, we can just wish this blaster our best wishes.
