Graphite Kindle Up For Pre-Ordering At $379
Amazon is all set to sizzle the market with an irresistible offer. They have launched the Graphite Kindle DX with 50 per cent better display, and best of all, the price chopped down by more than a hundred bucks.
Starting today, the new Kindle DX has been made available for pre-order and will be shipping by July 7. Still with the free 3G wireless, which will do away with bills or contracts, the Graphite Kindle DX improvises on its predecessor with a new graphite casing and a high contrast electronic display with 50 percent better contrast.
Steve Kessel, Senior VP of Amazon Kindle has been quoted as saying, “There’s no turning back once you read on our beautiful new Kindle DX screen. With 50 percent better contrast and darker fonts, you’ll find it easier than ever to read wherever you happen to be, whether it’s outside in bright sunlight or under the low light of your living room. We’re excited to offer the new Kindle DX with free 3G wireless at the lower price of $379.”
For a fuller experience, the Kindle DX features a 9.7-inch screen to increase the array of stuff to read. With a glare-free screen, compared to other backlit LCD screens, the reader can happily assume his bookworm-alias even in sunny California.
A high-performance battery pack makes sure that you need not charge your Kindle DX more than once a week with your wireless turned on. Furthermore, the super-thin, 1/3rd of an inch, gadget actually feels like reading a real book.
The latest Twitter and Facebook integration assures the social networking-mongers that they can keep updating their near and dear ones with the latest book they love. The built-in PDF reader ceases the necessity of scrolling, panning or zooming in more complex documents. The screen is also auto-rotating, which means it responds swiftly with a landscape view of the display as soon as you turn it. For those who loved being coaxed off to sleep with a bedtime fairy tale, the Kindle DX will read books out loud to help you cherish that childhood memory.
