Does the above message seem familiar to you? Well, save the nostalgia mate: this is soon going to be a thing of the past.
Keeping their joint word, Adobe and Google made our online lives a wee bit easier. Google recently released Chrome 5.0.375.86, the stable version of Google Chrome, incorporating the latest version of Flash Player by default. Also including five bug fixes, the new version has been made available for Linux, Mac and Windows. Earlier, a rickety performance by the integrated flash player had caused some commotion in the developer and beta releases.
Flash Player is an important tool to access the rich contents on the Internet. Playing online games and video streaming are popular user functions requiring an updated Flash Player. However, more often than not, the player has caused an overload on the browser and caused some confusion regarding its user interface. Much has already been standardized of the Flash abilities. Also known as HTML5, flash development includes Cascading Style Sheets for formatting and JavaScript for processing. Other elements of the Hypertext Markup Language also come into the picture for web pages beyond the upcoming HTML5 version.
Notably, the new update was declared just two days after the previously disabled Flash Player in the Beta version of Chrome was re-enabled. Despite all drawbacks and Apple’s rather vocal opposition to it, Flash Player continues to prosper and spread fast on the Web. The recent Flash Player 10.1 for Android phones has further consolidated its foothold in the online browsing market.
As far as security is concerned, the integration of Flash Player into Google Chrome will ensure direct delivery through Chrome’s updating system, thus minimizing security risks of the installation going wrong.
