Apple has dominated a lot on the news lately. Mostly for the wrong reasons, though.
On July 16, a Friday, Apple has booked a rendezvous with select media representatives. The concerned topic of discussion will be, happily enough, the iPhone 4 network reception problem. The needling issue at hand for iPhone 4 owners, who have tried everything from painting their phone cases to “holding it right”, as Apple told them to. But the “Grip of Death” has been highly persistent. So we wonder if Apple will dole out a miracle now, or just do the plain old recalling thing.
Scheduled at 10 AM Pacific Time on Friday in sunny California, the only detail Apple revealed about the tête-à-tête is what we already expected it is mostly about the iPhone 4. Apple sure wouldn’t want Microsoft to be proven right, when the latter publicly declared, “We know how Apple feels right now, we experienced the same thing with Vista.”
Conveniently, the meeting takes place just two working days prior to Apple releasing its quarterly earnings reports. They are probably planning to become the Messiah and deliver the long-awaited solution, with enough spare time to allow some astounding results by Tuesday.
