Would love to own a new netbook but have been observing a dipping bank balance lately? Well, chic and advanced technologies do not always have to leave you a pauper.
Acer has started shipping the Aspire One 1551-5445 after pre-ordering was declared a couple of weeks ago. Weighing around 3 pounds and just 1-inch thick, this netbook does not compromise when it comes to functionality either. An 11-inch LED-backlit display using Acer CineCrystal Technology makes sure that you have the perfect experience while watching movies and photos, working or browsing online. High-definition audio support and Dolby sound aspects add the extra appeal to the machine.
The AO1551 uses a 1.5GHz Turion II Neo K625 CPU and runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Equipped with 4GB of RAM, a 320 GB hard disk drive and a 6-cell battery with five-hour backup, the netbook promises you with loyal company while you are on the move.
Additional features that would probably woo you include an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 GPU and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. The 1.3 megapixel built-in webcam and microphone jack enables the user to effortlessly participate in a video-conferencing session. Three USB ports, a Multi-in-1 Card Reader and a HDMI port reinforce the connectivity with external devices.
If the above review impressed you and spending $550 wouldn’t be too much of a hassle, you should probably grab your own Acer Aspire One 1551- available at most places.
