HulloMail Launches Visual Voicemail Application For BlackBerry
We all hate Voice mail at least, in its present form. Mobile phones are getting bigger and better every month. But, the voice mail system has remained the same for more than a decade. We cannot say that there was no progress at all. There progress was much isolated.
Some phones like the iPhone, a couple of Blackberry handsets, and Samsung Instinct had embraced visual voice mail. In visual voice mail, we need not call to send a message. In 2008, YouMail introduced an independent visual voice mail system. They focused at smart-phones which did not have it out of the box.
Today a competitor HulloMail, from United Kingdom took a positive step with the introduction of a native BlackBerry application. HulloMail took a fascinating choice with their service. Unlike other standard services, in HulloMail, user or his email service stores all voice messages. The user configures their phone number after signing up with HulloMail. Whenever a call is not answered, it is forwarded to Hullomail. HulloMail will send it to the user’s email inbox after encoding it to an MP3 file. It will work on all handsets that can receive email and play audio files. It provides an added feature of forwarding this mail to friends.
HulloMail made their debut in December 2008 as an Android application. The substantial improvement in BlackBerry application is that it is faster than its previous product. New tricks are also available to retrieve the messages quickly. The HulloMail application and service is free of cost. The company is planning to make profit later with premium services. The application compatible with BlackBerry Tour will be available in http://www.hullomail.com
