AT&T is an organization which develops technology that connects us to the world. Most of the People see them as demons sent to earth to destroy the iPhone users’ productivity. Apple 2.0′s Philip Elmer-DeWitt  released a video of a guy named Seth Bloom last day. He is an AT&T representative, also known as “Seth, the blogger guy.”
In this video, Bloom explains AT&T’s iPhone MMS service, which will be available in the market from September 25th, 2009. He is also discussing some of the issues that plague AT&T’s network due to massive usage of smart-phone. Seth Bloom is quite helpful in answering the problems he is allowed to answer.  The unfortunate part is that he can help us by answering the questions, not by solving those. In many regards, their network has not reached the level where it needs to be. Bloom has been working here for months, and AT&T issues have continued to mount. He is quite helpful in answering the questions that he is allowed to answer, which we appreciate. The problem with Bloom is that he can only answer questions; he can not actually solve AT&T’s problems. Though the network is trying, it is still not where it needs to be in many regards.
This video is quite convincing as they humanize AT&T. It is fair if they find out solutions rather than explaining the problems faced by them. Certainly, this is smarter than keeping quiet. He comes with some happy news to offer MMS. The main highlight of this video is that, the reasons for AT&T issues are the popularity and overloading of this network. It might be true but we are paying a large amount of money for a service which is not at all reliable. It is a shame for the company to charge around $100 a month, for a service which they fail to provide. AT&T need be aware of the fact that most of the customers do not want to know the ins and outs. They just want it to work. Hope they will take measures soon to rectify their issues.
