The age of simple cell phones is long gone. Now everyone wants a mobile phone that can do everything. The Smartphone has to include mp3 player, camera, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and lots of other features. Among all the phones that are due this quarter the most promising ones are HTC Rhodium and Samsung Ace 2. HTC Rhodium seems to be much better phone compared to Ace @ with exciting features like Windows Mobile 7 and EVDO and HSDPA. The Samsung Ace II is the new Smartphone in the Ace series targeted at business and corporation customers who require CDMA/GSM on a windows platform. It has all the key features a smart phone must have. It has 3 MP cameras, mp3 player, Bluetooth, QWERTY keyboard, QVGA screen. It has a wide screen and runs in Windows Mobile Professional OS.  Looking at the features this phone will function in similar manner to Samsung Jack II.

The mobile should be in the market any time soon since it is supposed to be released in the 3rd quarter of the year. This version is better than the older version in various aspects. It has better camera and is Wi-Fi enabled unlike its predecessor.  Samsung Ace had a reputation to possess a sluggish performance. Ace II will be addressing that major concern on the performance.  It has 512 ROM and 256 MB RAM. This means that Ace 2 will be significantly faster than Ace which had much lesser ROM and RAM. Its predecessor offered dual-mode functionality for world-roaming which was unlocked for use with international SIM cards. The phone style of ACE 2 is candy bar just like Ace. The display will be similar to that of its predecessor.

Other features included are Sprint TV, Sprint NFL and Sprint Music store.  Unlike the rhodium it has only EVDO.  The Samsung Ace 2 is also an EV-DO capable handset which means that you will get swift data speeds for Web browsing. If you are an TV addict and want to watch TV on the go then you can avail the service of Sprint TV if you so choose. The add-on service which costs $20 per month, gives you access to lots of channels  including CNN, Comedy Central, E, the NFL Network, and Sprint Exclusive Entertainment. So when you re on the move next time make sure you have sprint TV on the phone so that you can be kept updated with the latest news. In addition you can listen to all your favorite tracks which will be streamed live from the music and talk radio from Sirius, VH1 Mobile, and MTV Mobile. Sadly, the Ace 2 also does not support overseas HSDPA networks.  Samsung Ace 2 shows lot of promise. Let’s wait and watch.
