We are expecting Palm pre as the most important handset in coming 2 years. Main difference from the expectations is that its smaller size, which makes Palm pre more attractive. Even if it is not much thinner, it suits for the slider size.

Web OS UI and UX is used in Palm pre. It is designed by considering the usage of individual users. The Card system in the Pre keeps the current information on which we are working. At the time of launching an application, you can create the card by dragging it onto your desktop and it can be closed easily when it is finished. The trackball feature makes the web access more convenient. It also got a pretty looking keyboard. No other phones got a QWERTY keyboard slider like Palm pre. High quality hardware design and the slightly larger screen could have certainly been put to full use.

Internet central OS is the biggest appeal of the phone. The browser is based on a Webkit, and full page rendering can be done within 10 seconds. Extremely responsive nature of browser and the zoom and drag/pan functionality adds more value to the phone.

Extending the phone search to Google or Wikipedia without launching the web browser attracts users. In the sense phone browsing is not constricted any special applications or browsers. Menu designing also makes it more specific. Beautiful screen makes bright and colorful photo viewing experience.

Palm pre does not provide video recording, but still image camera quality is pretty good. Next update will definitely include video camera and video sharing features. Promising SDK in palm is available for all uses the phone but the application store is only accessible using phone approval process. There is no compromise in the security and stability of applications. Application will never make a crash or security holes in the phone.

Smooth and reflective looking is also tough in the long lasting. Richer color display and plastically looking GUI makes peoples enjoy the palm beauty.
